Howdy - We came to Weimar in August of 1986, to begin our ministry here in Weimar.  When I first came to Weimar, God started a work in my life.  I am honest when I tell you I have become a God Chaser, wanting more of God and never satisfied unless I am growing in Christ on a daily basis.   As I sought God, the name of our church, Equippers Outreach Fellowship, was given to me by God. Equippers Outreach Fellowship (E.O.F. Establishing Others First) is currently going through major transition from pastoral to apostolic.  But the vision is still the same, to equip the saints for the work of the ministry.

I invite you and encourage you to come visit us and see for yourself what it is that God has for you at Equippers Outreach.  I am sure you will feel the presance and love of God the moment you enter the doors.  Come & See

Serving Him,

Apostle Jerry & Tina Adkins

Gil & Grethe Delaney - Senior Pastor
Email Gil & Grethe

Pastor Gil Delaney and His wife Grethe are both graduates of Christ for the Nations Inst.

They have five children ranging in age from 3 to 17 years of age.

Pastor Gil has worked closely with a variety of powerful men and women of God, including: Charles and Frances Hunter, Dr Hilton Sutton, Rodney Howard-Browne, Chris Harvey, David Hunter, Lora Allison, Kevin Prosch, Keith Luker and many others.

In 2007 Gil's book titled, "Stop the Church, I Want to Get Off," was published. Pastor Gil says, "There are millions of Christian soldiers in God's army who have been wounded by FRIENDLY FIRE.  They have served God for years, and now they find themselves on the sidelines, disillusioned and feeling overlooked, rejected and abandoned.  If this describes you, then you are EXACTLY in the condition the ENEMY wants you to be.

You CAN find the JOY of your salvation all over again!  You ARE important to God's plan in the earth today!  God DOES have a wonderful plan for your life!  You ARE HIS CHILD and that alone is a REVELATION of WORLD SHAKING magnitude."

Pastor Gil's desire for the congregation of Equippers Outreach Fellowship is that each individual will receive a deep revelation of who they are in God's eyes, and as a result, will grow spiritually in such a way that each ones SUPERNATURAL DESTINY is realized.

Hello, we are the McClanahan's, parents of two sons, Mark and James; two daughters in love, Nancy and Alena; and seven wonderful grandchildren, John, Kelly, Hayden, Mollie, Ryan, Caleb and Kaylee.  We first came to Weimar in 1988 when we bought some property on CR 210 as a weekend get away.  We bought a home in town in 1991 and permanently moved our residence in May of 1992.  We continued to work in Houston during the week and live in Weimar on the weekends until we retired in the year 2000.  God made us a permanent part of Equippers in 1990 where we have served under Pastor Jerry and Ms Tina for over 19 years.  We feel it is a great privilege to be placed, by God, in such an awesome body serving along side such an anointed "Man and Woman" of God with whom we share the same vision.

Our Meeting

Sylvia and I met, becoming “online” buddies in November 2007, as members of an internet singles website called “Christian Mingles.” We e-mailed back and forth, sharing personal information, for awhile until Sylvia felt confident enough to provide me her phone number with an invitation to call her. We talked frequently on the phone for a couple of weeks and as the Christmas holidays approached, we decided to meet face to face and get even better acquainted. Our initial meeting was brief, yet entertaining, at the home of Sylvia’s relatives in Sealy, Texas. We agreed to see each other again after Christmas.

The following week I invited Sylvia to church for several meetings with Rodney Orsborn for a New Year’s celebration. Our first three dates were here at

Equippers Outreach Fellowship listening to Rodney teach the Word and praising God in worship. Our relationship grew stronger in the coming weeks and soon Sylvia and I were very much in love. We married a few months later in May 2008.

Children’s Ministry

EOF enjoys having membership of families with youngsters of all ages. Early in 2008, a need was announced at church for children’s workers. Sylvia and I discussed helping in children’s ministry with the church leaders. After prayerfully seeking God’s guidance, we stepped out as pastors of the children’s ministry. During 2008 and 2009 we developed a strong ministry to the kids with emphasis on the children’s salvation through Jesus Christ, and basic biblical understanding. The Lord encouraged us to use a variety of indoor and outdoor activities to teach Godly principles and the wonder of His Creation, including prayer, praise & worship, trips, summer camps, skits, and puppet ministry. Additionally, we involved the children in ministry to the residents at our local nursing home. Preparing hand-made crafts as gifts, and with the children’s help, we were able to bless many of the residents, bringing smiles to their faces each visit. Using Bible lessons, skits, songs, and games for entertainment, the Lord taught our kids the importance of honor, respect, and Godly relationship with others, especially our senior citizens at the nursing home. We served the Lord as children’s pastors until early 2010.

Deaconship

When I moved to Weimar in 1995, I frequently assisted the deacons with repair and maintenance projects around our church and member’s homes. I became familiar with our building facilities and developed friendships with several member families. Through the years, I learned the importance of deaconship to the Body of Christ from Otto Mattiza, John McClanahan, and Jerry Adkins. In 2009, I was honored to be appointed as an EOF Deacon.

Deaconship is a combination of “Visitation”, “Helps”, “Prayer”, and “Counseling” Ministries within the church. A Deacon must always be ready to travel here and there for church members, while offering a sympathetic ear to listen, providing everyday practical solutions for physical needs, keeping a close relationship with the Lord Jesus, having a Godly Word of advice to bring peace in every situation, while always showing yourself friendly, wearing a well equipped carpenter’s tool belt, painter’s overalls, and a clean kitchen apron. Wow,…now there’s a lot to serving as a Deacon.

Sylvia and I enjoy all areas of our ministry to the Body of Christ here at Equippers Outreach Fellowship. We’ve adopted Godly Principles, Kingdom Living, and Spirit Led Prayer & Worship into our personal lives as well as our ministry at EOF. We’ve made many friends and cherish those relationships. We look forward to new challenges and opportunities in the months & years to come.

Glory be to God for His Mercy and Grace in our lives.
